Please read the information below before reserving a bird.
Payment
We accept CashApp and Zelle for deposits or shipping and we accept cash at in-person pickup.
Deposits
To reserve an unweaned baby, a deposit is required, which will be applied towards the purchase price. We then take that specific baby off of the market, therefore deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. The remaining balance is due at pickup or before shipping.

If a deposit has been placed and we determine to refuse sale, or if for any reason we are unable to make the bird available to you, including our decision to keep the bird for ourselves, we will refund any payment that you have sent to us in full.
Shipping & Pickup
We offer Delta Cargo shipping or in-person pickup in Gainesville, VA.

We will notify you when your bird is weaned to schedule a date and time for pickup or shipping within 7 days. If you need more time due to scheduling conflicts we will work with you to accommodate your needs for up to 14 days. However, the bird still must be paid for in full within 7 days of weaning. ​​

For biosecurity and practical reasons, we do not allow in-home visits or in-person selection of birds. This helps protect our closed aviary from outside germs and keeps our birds safe, healthy, and stress-free. ​
Health Guarantee
We encourage you to arrange for your bird to be seen by an avian veterinarian within 3 days of bringing him/her home. If any testing conducted during this time reveals a pre-existing, untreatable condition that significantly impacts the bird’s health or lifespan, you must contact us immediately with the veterinary records.
If the condition is verified and the bird is returned in a timely manner, we will offer either a refund of the purchase price or an equitable replacement.

If the bird passes within this 3-day window, we require a necropsy report from a certified lab confirming that the cause of death was due to a pre-existing condition for the guarantee to apply.
Please note: Unweaned babies are not covered under this guarantee, as they require specialized care from the new owner.
Refunds
Except as outlined in the health guarantee, deposit agreement, or otherwise explicitly stated in writing, there are no refunds on deposits or on the sales of live animals even if you surrender it back to us. While we make every effort to ensure your bird is sweet, lovable, and well socialized, there is no guarantee on personality, pet or breeding potential.
